The system includes critical parts working in tandem:
- Drogue & Drogue Pouch: Initiates the recovery process, with the drogue stored in a protective pouch for deployment readiness.
- Drogue Bridle & Main Lines: Connect the drogue to the main canopy, ensuring smooth extraction and line straightening.
- Deployment Bag: Houses the main canopy, protecting it until deployment.
- Main Canopy: Provides stable, controlled descent once fully inflated.
- Delayed Cutter: Triggers at the right moment to unseal binding lines, enabling full main canopy inflation.
- Harness & Disconnection Adapter: Secure the system to the drone during descent, with the adapter detaching to separate the parachute from the drone for safe landing.
- Command Activation: When the target drone receives a recovery command, its control system activates to open the parachute canister.
- Drogue Deployment: The drogue (connected to the drone) is released into the airflow behind the drone’s tail, initiating the recovery sequence.
- Main Canopy Extraction: As the drogue inflates, it tows and extracts the main canopy from the deployment bag while straightening the main lines—preparing for full inflation.
- Controlled Inflation: The delayed cutter triggers to unseal the main canopy’s binding lines, allowing it to fully inflate and stabilize the drone’s descent.
- Safe Separation: During the steady descent, the disconnection adapter detaches, separating the parachute system from the drone to ensure the drone lands safely.
Designed for target drone operations, the T400 Series eliminates risks of damage during recovery. By combining timed deployment, smooth canopy inflation, and reliable separation, it ensures drones are retrieved intact—maximizing equipment longevity and mission efficiency.
