The high-altitude oxygen supply system is a specialized oxygen supplementation solution designed for parachutists during bailout operations, consisting of an onboard oxygen cylinder and a hose assembly. It provides supplemental oxygen for up to 3 parachutists at altitudes up to 25,000 feet (7,620 meters) while also supporting the aircraft's own oxygen needs. A single-person oxygen cylinder variant is available, tailored for soldiers during parachute phases, with multiple sizes to suit diverse requirements.
Key components include an ergonomic oxygen breathing mask (made from silicone rubber and PC composite) featuring a secure seal, comfortable fit, bayonet coupling for easy helmet attachment, and a built-in filter to block airborne impurities. The hose assembly is equipped with in-line oxygen flow indicators for direct flow monitoring, plus a charging valve that automatically cuts off oxygen supply when the hose is connected and resumes supply once detached, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
